Due to rosters being updated at different times for teams across the country and to keep things consistent, jersey numbers are based on the&nbsp;2020 fall-2021 spring season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/herosports.com\/fcs-football-2021-jersey-countdown-bzbz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The 99-0 countdown central page can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Note: Jersey numbers are based on&nbsp;2020 fall-2021 spring&nbsp;rosters<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5: Dai&#8217;Jean Dixon, WR (Sr.) \u2014 Nicholls<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nicholls has a terrific rushing attack (No. 3 rushing offense in the FCS during the spring season), but it also has one of the most dangerous weapons on the outside in Dixon. In 2018, he caught four passes for 40 yards against Kansas and had another four catches for 112 yards versus Tulane. In 2019, Dixon recorded five receptions for 92 yards against Kansas State and five catches for 54 yards at Texas State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He&#8217;ll get two more opportunities this fall against Memphis and Louisiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Nicholls strikes first on the road.
