Toyota Stadium, Home Of The FCS Championship, To Get A $182M Renovation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Frisco City Council approved a $182 million public-private partnership with FC Dallas to renovate Toyota Stadium, which is also home to the FCS national title game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frisco holds the current contract to host the FCS championship with an option to host through the 2026 season (January 2027 game). Bids to host in the 2027 season (2028 game) and beyond are being worked through right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The completed renovation will result in expanded capacity by more than 10%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, it is a multi-year project, which could dramatically impact capacity during the renovation stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
