Week 1 didn\u2019t disappoint as we saw plenty of breakout performances from players across the Group of Five<\/a>. Records were already broken and players shined in debuts with their new teams.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ashton Jeanty, Boise State<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

What more is there to say? The numbers and highlights speak for themselves. There\u2019s a reason Jeanty was already hitting the Heisman pose following one of his school-record six touchdowns on the day. Georgia Southern defenders were eating stiff arms and bouncing off the 5-foot-9, 215-pound running back all afternoon while he rushed for 267 yards \u2014 another school record \u2014 on just 20 carries. Jeanty proved once again why he\u2019s elite and should be in consideration for the top RB in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He\u2019s someone who can easily make this list weekly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
